Snorri Magnússon was born in Akranes, Iceland on January 28th in 1960. Snorri earned a diploma in Social Pedagogy in 1984 and graduated from the Icelandic University of Education, the division of Sport and Physical Education in 1988.

Snorri was the first Baby Swimming Instructor in Iceland and has been very active from the beginning regarding baby swimming in Iceland.

Snorri works as a Social Pedagogue and Swimming Instructor for disabled people in the Swimming Pool of Skálatún in Mosfellbær. In addition he operates Snorri's Baby Swimming in the same swimming pool.

Snorri has twin daughters born in 1990, while working with them he developed his teaching methods. Snorri's methods are considered special in the world of baby swimming. The neighboring countries have shown interest in Snorri's innovated methods.

Snorri is currently the chairman of BUSLI, The Icelandic Baby Swimming Association founded in 1994.
